Hunting Supplies
The Gist To Hunting Supplies
If this is your first time hunting, it is good to know a little about Hunting Supplies you will need. Hunting Supplies vary with the type of hunting. Hunting is a practice that dates back into historical times. Since the prehistoric period, hunting is a skill that is important to homo sapiens survival - our ancestors hunted for their survival. Today, hunting is a sport that many take on as recreation or as an alternative meat source. For many, hunting is a way to enjoy the wilderness and for that to be an enjoyable experience, it needs preparation and good Hunting Supplies. Because your hunting supplies are such an important part of your trip, you will want to keep in mind that once in the wilderness, you will not be able to buy extra food or forgotten equipment.
Depending on what you are on a hunt for, hunting supplies varies and your needs may differ with what you are hunting for. Also, depending on where you are from hunting different animals require different license and season as well. So pack your hunting license, tickets and permits with you whenever you go on hunting trip. Nothing spoils the fun more than being apprehended by officials and your hunting trip is shortened. However, hunting supplies is the gist in this article and this is a step by step guide to your basic hunting needs.
Whether you are hunting fowls, deer or moose there are some hunting supplies that you will need to have, which is the basic. Animals have a keen sense of smell and it is likely that they could sense your presence even before you spot them. The first thing on your hunting supplies' list should be Scent Control. You will need the basic wear hunters use to limit their scent like balaclava hunting headwear, base layer hunting pants, out camouflage pants, camouflage shirt, boot socks, hunting radar hat, and gloves. Of course, they even have camouflage wear for colder seasons as well. With this as your first items on your list, it is time to move to hunting equipments.
Basic equipments that you should have in your hunting bag:
1. A map
2. A compass
3. Rifle with at least 10 cartridges
4. A good standard binoculars
5. A Swiss Army knife
6. A large skinning knife
7. A saw (optional: for sawing off antlers, horns, legs and ribs)
8. A good cotton game bag
9. A good nylon string to hang your game meat
10. Garbage bags
11. A good backpack to carry all your hunting equipments
Last but not least, if you decide to hunt for more than a day, which is likely because some hunts and traps requires more than a day to take effect, you might want to include food and shelter as part of your hunting supplies.

Is this an unreasonable request?
My boyfriend just finished with his "hunting season" aka vacation that lasted about... all of October. I know he loves hunting and that's his time to get away (vacation), but what about me? I have been wanting to get away AT LEAST for a weekend with him and have even hinted at it... but he just says "we need to save our money for our house" or blows off my request. But he can spend money on hunting supplies, gas, food, and whatever else he needed on his month long excursion?!? Am I being selfish and unreasonable or is he just being a jerk??!

Should i make a racing lawnmower or a go cart?
i have a old 18hp engine that i plan on tuning up some on a old lawnmower and im either just going to use the lawnmower frame or im going to weld together my own frame from some pipes and put a roll-over bar and id also probably add a little bed in the back for carrying camping/hunting supplies so what do you think i should make a racing mower or a go cart?

Christmas presents help? (for various people in my life)?
For my boyfriend that I truly do love... I'm getting him an engraved promise ring, a bottle of my perfume, a teddy bear, a nice picture frame with a professional picture of myself (along with a recorder that hooks on the back so he can hear a message I record for him), and along with this a stocking and a nice card. Then on the side when he wakes up Christmas morning, I'll give him myself with a bow. We sleep together so I thought this would be cute. And for whomever claims these gifts are overly sensitive, that's the point. I KNOW he'll adore all of these, but the question is... Am I not getting him enough? This is our first Christmas spent together and I want it to be as special as can be.
Also, I'm buying for his parents as well. I'm staying with them all for the holiday and I'm very close with them. I'm already set with his mom's present (a Bath&BodyWorks gift set), but what should I get his dad? They are very wealthy and the man has everything he could ever want. Literally. He's a fan of the football team Michigan, so I was thinking something related to that. Not tickets though. He's very busy and wouldn't have the time. My price range is no more than $40. I'm low on cash this Christmas and want to spent the most on my boyfriend. So, any ideas for his dad?
I live with my grandparents, so of course I need to get them both something. My grandpa won't mention anything other than PJ pants with a hunting or fishing theme to them, and I just feel like that's too simple. I just mentioned his hobbies, so does anyone know what I could get him? He already has all the hunting supplies he could need. I was thinking a decoration for his room. He just fixed it up with a deer-hunting theme (gross!), and doesn't have many decoration. Or would that be stupid? Then my grandma won't give me any ideas what-so-ever. She's into The Wizard Of Oz, I Love Lucy, and enjoys working in kitchen. She overworks and I'd like to get her something special. Sadly, she isn't into being pampered and Bath&BodyWorks type stuff. So I'm clueless. Every year we get her something The Wizard Of Oz or I Love Lucy themed, so I'd prefer to get her something completely unrelated to that. But I'm up for anything at this point.
The last person I'm still stuck with is my mom. We don't have a close relationship, and whenever anyone gets her something she just doesn't seem to care for it. I've tried getting her nice jewelery, a proffesional massage, makeup and whatnot, but nothing seems to work. She's also not into Bath&BodyWorks stuff because she already has more than enough of it. Any ideas on what to get a hard-to-buy for mom?
ALSO - I refuse to give gift-cards or money to the people I buy for.
Thank you to all those who actually read this. And Happy Holidays to you all!

I’ve commented on the decline of large-scale outdoors shows in northern Illinois over the past ten years. I’ve tried to analyze the situation and have offered many answers and made suggestions to show promoters. Still, it just doesn’t add up that of all of the major cities in the Midwest, Chicago is the single failure.
