Most of the providers offer many different kinds of hunts as well to keep you occupied if you get a huge Buck the very first day! Many times you can book a deer/pheasant or deer/turkey hunt during the same trip. In addition, most of the providers are "mom and pop" operations that make you feel right at home. Often times you are staying in a guest house or lodge that is located right next to the outfitters permanent residence. In addition, although it may sound goofy, people in the Midwest are down to earth, nice people. Each outfitter wants to make sure you return the next year so they will do everything in their power to make sure you are having a great time on your Iowa guided hunt.
