Bear hunting guns and calibers.?
My dad wants to take me bear hunting next spring in canada. We hunt deer in WI where we live but we hunt on slug land no rifles allowed. So we dont have large caliber rifles. He has been up in canada before but borrowed a gun(338 win mag) and i have been looking for a rifle that will do the job but wont cost much. Will the stevens 200 in 30-06, 7mm mag, 308, or 300 win mag do the job the bears are black bears not grizzles. of those calibers what on would you recommend. thanks
